Is changing the world really that difficult?

I randomly got a note from a former employee today. He worked for me many years ago. He told me that he got promoted recently and then said, “I can’t thank you enough for seeing the promise in me to become who I am today!!”.

I am humbled and so thankful that I made a difference in someone’s life just by believing in him. If that’s all it takes, then I suppose we all have the ability to change the world, don’t we? :)

Well, hello there!

I’m not planning to blog much on this site, but I wanted to have something in place of the obligatory “Hello, World!” post. Unfortunately, my new first blog title (“Well, hello there!”) is probably even LESS creative, but you’ll have that. A cool thing that I will mention is that I just created a QR code for this site.

It looks something like this: .

Okay, so it doesn’t look “something” like that…it looks EXACTLY like that.

I have seen many people use QR codes on their business cards, but I used this particular code on my printed bio. That way, when I hand it out, folks can scan it and blamm-o…welcome to YvonneEnglish.com. [Note: The actual sound of a QR Code reader is not "blamm-o". It is actually silent. Also, in the spirit of being completely honest, I don't even think that "blamm-o" is a real word. That is all.]  :)

In case you’re looking to create your own QR code, you can find multiple free QR code creators online. I used this one. Have fun!
